While the location was ideal, the cleanliness and hygiene of the room was lacking: one of the bins hadn’t been emptied from a previous guest and there appeared to be threads on the table and not dusted. The receptionist was pleasant.

Had a very good break in Queens Hotel. Facilities were good but reception area needs to be on ground floor.. Rooms clean but music to loud after 12..can be heard up to 2.30 at night

Description

The Queens Hotel is situated next to the ruins of the Franciscan friary in the heart of Ennis town on Abbey Street. . With a superb location this hotel is a great base from which to explore all that County Clare has to offer. The charming shops, traditional pubs and good restaurants of the town are all within easy reach. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom. A kettle and hairdryer is available upon request.. Shannon International Airport is just 15 km away. 

Please note this hotel is strictly over 18s only.  During weekends there is an onsight nightclub and some bedrooms overlook the street. 

If travelling with a car there is no car parking facilities but you can park at Abbey Street car park at your own expense.
